Rise and Shine @ Sunday, August 2nd

Good morning, dear we who have opened our eyes—
the cosmos leans close with its luminous sighs,
and all of us gathered here, welcomed and known,
are held in the shimmer of stardust we're shown.

We step into morning as light finds its way,
through opalescent waves that dance and that play,
and everywhere spiraling, iridescent and bright,
the universe hums us awake with delight.

We're lifted on currents of celestial flow,
where nebulas whisper the things that we know—
that joy is our birthright, as simple as this:
we're woven from wonder, from starlight, from bliss.

So onward we go now, all glowing and free,
the whole cosmos cheering for all we will be,
with spectrums cascading through everything new—
we're blessed by this morning, and morning loves too.
